The Woodfield coat’s outer layer is Cordura-Supplex fabric which is very durable as well as water and stain-repellent.
The lining is a guaranteed waterproof and highly breathable storm liner from the Swedish FOV in Borås. All seems are
sealed with tape and the material used in the reflectors are top quality. We have tested various materials, and
this combination fulfills all our demands for suppleness, durability, waterproofing, breathability, stain resistance,
and easy maintenance. The coat is machine-washable at 40°C.
The coat is very spacious in its construction so that it is easy to fit warm sweaters in the winter. It is also really long and therefore the most important measure is your height when choosing a size.

RIDING
Being able to ride in extreme weather conditions without getting cold and wet is a wonderful feeling, whichever discipline you practice. The Woodfield coat will keep you, your saddle and the back of your horse warm and dry.
The lower front edge on the inside of the coat fastens around the legs to prevent the coat from flapping up.
The detachable hood is large and adjustable for optimum fit with or without a riding hat.
The wide reflectors will ensure you are visible from a long distance.

All dogs love long walks- as do most dog owners when dressed for the weather.
The Woodfield coat is a shell garment designed for year-round use.
The model is generously cut to allow room for warm jumpers, and the pockets are large enough for most things you might need on a walk, wether or not you take a dog.

THE STORY
Woodfield was founded in 2002 by the designer AnnMari Folkeson, with the sole purpose of designing the perfect riding coat.
A garment which could also be used outside the equine world. Many of us in the equine world will happily ride in any weather. The problem has been to find a suitable riding coat, which would stand up for the rigors of snow and rain, and keep both rider and horse warm and dry, without feeling cumbersome or restrictive.
Thanks to a collaboration with the Swedish Mounted Police Force in Gothenburg, the coat gradually evolved and they became our first customers.
The coat is a unisex garment available with or without reflectors.
